Bethelehem Gronneberg , the founder of Ucodegirl, a non-profit organization in the United States, ventured this summer to the country she was born and was introduced to technology when she was attending the university there.
Bethlehem took her mission to crack the code to Ethiopia to inspire young girls to be interested in the non-traditional field of engineering and IT technology. With the help of Ministry of Education, several local resident volunteer and CREW, she was able to gather over one hundred young high school girls to be trained for one week at the Addis Ababa University. We congratulate Bethlehem on a very successful and empowering training she provided, and also thank all the people who had helped her in her effort. CREW hope to continue to work with UcodeGirl to inspire young girls to be involved in building a future for themselves and the country to compete in the Global world.
